FAQ

How does [Capitalize] work?

It changes only the first letter of each word to uppercase and leaves the other letters as they are. The first letter after any word boundary—spaces, hyphens or punctuation—is capitalized, except after an apostrophe (don’t becomes Don’t). Example: hello world → Hello World

How do I turn mixed-case text into Title Case?

[Capitalize] does not lowercase the remaining letters. Click [lowercase] first, paste the result back into the input, then click [Capitalize]—'HELLO WORLD' becomes 'Hello World'.

Can the text contain numbers or other scripts?

Yes. Characters without case—numbers, symbols, Korean, Japanese and line breaks—are kept as they are; only letters are converted.

Are non-English letters converted too?

[lowercase] and [UPPERCASE] also convert accented Latin letters such as é or ß, as well as Greek and Cyrillic. [Capitalize] applies only to the basic English alphabet (A–Z).

Is my text sent to a server?

No. Conversion runs entirely in your browser; your text is never uploaded or stored.
